01 — about

About Me

I'm a Product Engineer. I studied at the University of Michigan and have spent my career living in the space between strategy and execution, which mostly means I'm the person in the room who both draws the roadmap and writes the code for it.

I've shipped a GenAI chatbot to 8,000+ employees, created a contract processing tool for 17,000+ users, and demoed a voice agent at CES, and built tools that make real people's days measurably less painful. I care a lot about the why behind the product — who needs it, what it costs them if it's bad, and what it frees them up to do if it's good.

Outside of work I'm usually building something for myself that I couldn't find anywhere else — like a daily planner that moves with the sun. Detroit-based, always building, occasionally sleeping.
